Baros Residence Recognized by Elite Traveler

25 February 2024 | All Blogs, Destination, Experience, Villas

We are excited to announce that the prestigious publication, Elite Traveler, has selected The Baros Residence for their Staff and Services award.

Elite Traveler focuses exclusively on content that champions for sustainable, ethical and environmentally conscious luxury. And in The Baros Residence, they see a shining example of all three.

New levels of care

Baros understands that caring for nature and the local community doesn’t mean compromising on comfort and hospitality.

“Few factors are more important to a hotel than the quality of its service,” says Elite Traveler. “When it comes to the top suite, it must be flawless”.

For their Top Suites award, points are allocated to suites based on the provision of amenities such as 24-hour butler service and private chefs.

Height of luxury

At The Baros Residence, the most luxurious of Baros’s villa offerings, guests enjoy the services of a dedicated butler. In addition to impeccable service, the luxury residence offers the height in comfort with 2,884 sq. ft of private island paradise to enjoy. The master bedroom boasts a cloud-like, emperor-sized bed while an expansive bathroom includes an indoor shower, free-standing tub and an outdoor shower with palms overhead.

The Baros Residence invites you into a secret world. Here, you have your own stretch of private beach and the cool retreat of a wide timber deck, with private pool, shaded by the trees of our towering canopy.

Comfort with a conscience

At Baros, guests can enjoy the luxury island holiday of a lifetime while knowing that the pristine environment, and local people, are being honoured.

The Baros Residence was awarded  Gold Star for Sustainability, with points allocated for tangible results from environmental, social and governance initiatives. Baros was awarded points for recycling and reusing glass, recycling plastic, paper and metal, for treatment of waste material and composting and for renewable energy. We were also awarded points for sustainable fishing and community upliftment initiatives.

In addition to the recognition received for Sustainability and Staff and Services, Baros was awarded  Gold Star award for Access. Points were included for step free access throughout the entire ground floor unit and for being wheelchair accessible. The private island resort was also awarded points for having facilities that are accessible for disabled guests. The Baros Residence was also awarded a Gold Star for Technology.
