Where Is Baros Maldives?

9 June 2021 | All Blogs, Destination

Far away but near enough. Tranquillity and relaxation is just a 25-minute speedboat cruise from touchdown at Velana, the Maldives International Airport near the capital island city of Male’.

BAROS MALDIVES LOCATION

Baros is a tropical island located in the archipelago of the Maldives in the Indian Ocean. A beach and coconut palm-fringed island paradise set in a turquoise lagoon, this blissful holiday resort lies in Male’ Atoll – a beautiful seascape like nowhere else on Earth within a short speedboat ride of the international airport of the Maldives.

HOW TO GET TO BAROS

By scheduled airlines or private aircraft direct from Europe, the Middle East, Singapore, India or Sri Lanka, Baros is in the same atoll as the international airport so there’s no need to wait for a seaplane transfer. While tourists bound for distant atolls have to queue for a flight, you’ll be enjoying an enchanting 25-minutes speedboat ride from the airport direct to your villa.

Our speedboats run to and from Baros on request at any time of day or night – and we’ll be ready to greet you at the airport as you emerge from the arrival hall. Your holiday at Baros begins just minutes after touch down.
