Why Baros Makes The Best Weekend Escape
Whether you would like a weekend combined with a traditional public holiday, or just need to escape for a few days, here are five great reasons why Baros Maldives makes the best weekend escape.
1. JUST A SHORT SPEEDBOAT TRIP TO REACH YOUR BLISSFUL ISLAND
Baros is only a short speedboat ride of 25 minutes after landing at Male’ International Airport. The Baros airport team will welcome you outside the international arrivals hall and guide you to a waiting speedboat that will take you swiftly and comfortably straight to Baros. Or if you would like to begin your short holiday in even more style you can book a transfer by luxury yacht.
2. SMALL BUT PLENTIFUL
Baros is one of the smaller and more intimate boutique resorts in the Maldives. It’s easy to find your way around by foot – no buggies needed – as you enjoy the island’s natural beauty. You can explore sandy trails in the shade of tropical vegetation or walk around the entire island in 20 minutes along the shoreline.
3. EARLY CHECK-IN AND LATE CHECK-OUT
All of us on Baros know what needs to be done to make sure you make the most out of your brief stay. We will try to arrange for you to check in to your villa as you arrive, even if it is before the usual check-in time of 3.00 pm. Also, if availability allows, you will be able to prolong your stay with a late check-out.
4. NO TIME WASTED
Speedboat transfers are more flexible and reliable than seaplanes or domestic flights. Transfers to and from Baros are scheduled for your flight departure or arrival (even at night) – so there is no time wasted waiting at the airport during your weekend escape at Baros.
