Must-Try Spa Rituals at Baros Maldives

30 April 2023 | All Blogs, Destination, Experience

Following the winding path through the lush, tropical garden, you find yourself at the majestic wooden and brass doors of Serenity Spa. This is Baros at its most blissful and our guests return time and again to be nourished by the enchanted hands of our expert therapists.

Although every option on our treatment menu is wonderfully indulgent and will see you dreaming about your next visit from the moment you leave, there are a few absolute must-try rituals at Baros’s Serenity Spa.

  1. Romantic Spa retreat ceremony for couples by ELEMIS

This spa journey is the height of bliss and is specially designed for couples who wish to share a transcendent relaxation experience. It includes two and a half hours of immersive pampering which will enhance intimacy and leave you and your loved one refreshed and rejuvenated.

Start with a 30 minute tropical coconut sand scrub, followed by a relaxing 30 minute steam bath, while you nibble on fruit and sip bubbles. You will then enjoy an hour of ELEMIS Freestyle Deep Tissue Massage followed by a 30 minute ELEMIS Booster Facial. You will leave deeply relaxed and ready to enjoy every romantic moment Baros has to offer.

  1. Muscle-releasing mud wrap by TheraNaka

Often, we come into a holiday holding the stress of work and everyday life in every taut muscle of our body. Embark on this 75 minute journey with a natural body scrub to slough away dead skin cells, followed by a restorative herbal-fusion back massage, along with an invigorating therapeutic muscle-warming cocoon that will make your senses tingle. A soothing mud wrap then helps ease any muscle aches and pains, leaving your whole body refreshed and invigorated. You walk out of the Serenity Spa leaving muscle tensions and the stresses of life behind, ready to make the most of every minute of your blissful holiday.

  1. COOLA Sun Massage

This relaxing massage is designed to nourish and soothe your skin while you enjoy the sun and sea that is the beauty of Baros. Calming anti-inflammatory and ultra-hydrating ingredients are individually selected for each guest’s unique skin type.

  1. Bespoke Baros Bliss

Although we can highly recommend the above spa treatments, we know that every person is unique with different needs and preferences. At Baros, we are intent on creating meaningful and personalised moments for our guests.

At Serenity Spa you can curate your personal wellness experience by choosing from a combination of spa indulgences to fit your preferences.

You can select at least three treatments from the following menu to create your own unique spa programme:

Rejuvenate (30 minute Salt Glow, 30 minute relaxing bath); Relax (15 minute steam, 75 minute Thai, Swedish or Balinese massage); Revive (60 minute Intuitive Jet Lag Massage); Refresh (15 minute steam, 60 minute wrap, 15 minute shower, 30 minute back massage); Realign (30 minute head massage, 30 minute foot massage); Release (60 minute Thai, Swedish or Balinese massage, 30 minute Booster Facial); Renew (30 minute Coconut Scrub, 60 minute massage.
