To say that the last two years have been challenging for most people is an understatement. From lockdowns to quarantines and everything in between, there’s no doubt that most of us are in serious need of a holiday and a reset.

At Baros, we partnered with renowned nutritionist and author Ekaterina Maslova to create a newly-improved detox programme that will help you do just that by jumpstarting new healthy habits. It’s the ultimate way to get your body feeling grounded, healthy and energised in no time so that you can fully surrender to an unforgettable holiday in paradise.

1. Ekaterina Maslova will be instrumental in fine-tuning our new detox programme

At Baros, we pride ourselves on offering only the best to our discerning guests. That’s why we sought out the advice and guidance of world-renowned nutritionist and author, Ekaterina Maslova to create an unrivalled holiday detox programme. Drawing on her passion for and expertise in nutrition, healthy immune system functioning, and current superfoods, Ekaterina helped us create a programme that can help guests slim down as well as detox while in paradise.

2. The detox programme is created with holistic health and healing in mind

We believe that true healing and health needs to happen across mind, body and soul. That’s why our new detox programme doesn’t just focus on any one area entirely. Instead, the programme centres on a careful balance of spa treatments, physical activities and exercises as well as carefully balanced nutritional meals.

Baros’ spa manager, Asini, and Executive Chef Ken worked closely with Ekaterina to ensure the healing aspects of the programme were far more beneficial than just being “skin deep”. Guests can expect to enjoy everything from tailor-made spa treatments and yoga classes to medication and meals that hero fresh fish and nutritious vegetables, there’s no doubt this will put you in the best mood for a holiday of a lifetime.

3. Each programme is tailored according to the guest’s preferences

As with all of our other offerings at Baros, the detox programme is anything but one-size-fits-all. While the basic intention is the same for all guests— to help them on a successful detox journey that is nourishing, each facet of the programme can be tailored. Guests can choose between a three-, five- or seven-day detox programme that kicks off on a day best suited to the guest. Dietary requirements are also taken into consideration so guests can rest assured that each step of the journey will be curated specifically for their preferences and needs.
